Introducing

"KUBU" originates from the Sesotho/Setswana languages, meaning "hippopotamus."

The name symbolises strength, stability, and a solid presence - qualities that reflect the robust design of modern acoustic office pods. A group of hippos is called a pod, creating a natural

connection between the name "Kubu" and the product itself.

While "Kube / Cube" is commonly used worldwide to describe modular, cube-shaped acoustic “speech privacy” booths, Designed and manufactured in South Africa, KUBU gives the familiar idea of a modular ‘cube’ a meaningful local identity.
